1922

Leone Marziali’s roasting facility opens in Rome at Via Salaria 52, across from the historic “La Fenice” theater. Over the next ten years, new prestigious Marziali coffee shops open in various parts of the city, spreading the now-famous blend.

1964

Marziali Cafè is now a symbol of premium quality: a new venue opens on via S. Gennaro in Rome. Leone Marziali’s legacy, who, along with Franca and Laura, takes over the company, to even greater success.

1996

The company acquires a new industrial facility and receives ISO 9004 certification in 1999. A corporate policy is established to ensure the quality of products and services.

2000

With over a hundred years of history, Marziali Caffè combines the finest tradition of master roasters with the passion and energy of a modern skilled team.

2016

The company obtains Organic certification. The following year, it launches a line of Nespresso® compatible capsules on the market.

2019

Two Marziali 1922 branded stores are inaugurated in Rome, introducing an innovative concept that combines coffee shop with a restaurant/bistrot.

2022

Marziali Caffè celebrates 100 years in the premium quality coffee roasting industry. To mark the occasion, a new 100% arabica blend called 1922 is created.

Marziali Caffè Today

From 2020 to 2022, the third generation of the Marziali family, building on the legacy of siblings Renato e Franca, took the helm of the company. With Silvia as CEO, Francesca as President of the Board and Matteo managing the two Marziali 1992 stores, they seamlessly blended history, excellence and innovation, continuing the Marziali tradition.
